Congratulations to our new Black Belts

It was an honour to present Matthew ‘Taz’ DeLuca with his Junior Black Belt and Steve Hyatt with a Full Instructorship in Jeet Kune Do Concepts.

In our 8 years of operation; these are the only black belts we have presented to any of our students. Which is a testament to their many years of dedication and hard work.

While many schools practically sell their ranks to students, both Matthew and Steve earned their belts the old fashioned way… with blood, sweat and some tears.

These belts not only represent their knowledge and skill, but recognition that they are part of martial arts history.

As I am a student and instructor under Guru Richard Bustillo, himself a 1st generation under Bruce Lee, both Mathew and Steve are
3rd generation students in Jeet Kune Do concepts with direct lineage to Sigung Lee.

Steve also has the honour of now being a full Jeet Kune Do instructor with the authority to teach it as a recognised instructor. I have also granted Steve the right to use the Point Blank Martial Arts name when he teaches and his students go to competitions.

We congratulate both Matthew and Steve.
