Bravado Jiu-Jitsu Tournament (September 2007 – Toronto)

Sydney Shields, Sarah Shields, and Alyssa Ultimo tied for 4th place in there division, with Sydney and Alyssa both making it to the semi-finals, and Sarah losing a hard fought match for 3rd place.
Sam Ronin placed 4th in his division losing the 3rd place match. With only seconds remaining in the match Sam had partially mounted the back of his opponent, but ran out of time before he could remove his opponents arm from his head and tie the score.
Unfortunately, Ethan Hyatt who had won his first match; but hurt his neck during his 2nd and was unable to continue his next two matches.
I received some very positive comments from other coaches about our kids’ performance. We are very proud of each of them, and the hard work they put into getting ready for the tournament. Congratulations Team.
