Training Tips

Make it Easier:

  • Do it without the push up (also called squat thrust)
  • Do it without the jump

Make it Harder:

  • Wear a weight vest or backpack
  • Do a tuck jump or leap as far as you can
  • Hold a dumbbell in each hand

50 Kettlebell Swings

Training Tips

Make it Easier:

  • Reduce the kettlebell weight
  • Limit the range of motion at the top of the swing (raise the kettlebell to the height of the chest instead of head)

Make it Harder:

  • Increase the kettlebell weight
  • Increase the range of motion to directly overhead

20 Push Press – 65lbs/45lbs

Tips for the Deadlift

  • Look Straight Ahead
  • Keep Back Arched
  • Arms don’t pull, they are just for holding the bar
  • Bar Travels along the shin and legs
  • Push/Drive with the heels
